Mt Hood

Mt Hood was a blast over President's day weekend. We're always accompanied with great friends and have a wonderful time. This year we had babies to entertain us. For a very brief time, we took Kate and Jeffrey out in sleds while we were there. They looked less then amused the whole time. We'll have to see how next year goes (hopefully everyone will join us in SLC)!! :)

Not a great shot of John, but Jeffrey enjoying Winter Squash on Mt Hood

Again, very amused

Little Gym

We were fortunate to have my mom fly over for a visit the last week of February while John was traveling out of town for work. Jeffrey loved having her here. He always gets attention 100% of the time and has withdrawals when she leaves. She was our personal photographer during her visit. I wish we would of gotten some pictures with her. :)

Seattle Aquarium

During Mom's visit we met Kate and Leah at the Seattle Aquarium for the afternoon. Jeffrey and Kate loved the aquarium. Very interested in those water creatures. Kate kept trying to reach through the glass at the fish swimming by. Lots of things to touch and feel too!!

The scuba guy feeding in the tank swam up to Kate and Jeffrey, but I don't think they realized it was a person.

Whistler

OK, I'm up to just last week now!! We stayed for a week at Whistler with Jared, Anneliese, Cora, Mieka and Grandma Liz. We had a wonderful time and these pictures are actually what inspired me to get back on my horse with the blogging. I'd never been to Whistler before and it was sooo gorgeous there. I really liked the village. We were fortunate enough to stay in the village where there were shops, restaurants and coffee stops! The car didn't move from the moment we arrived because everything is right there including the ski lifts! Although wonderful, a lift ticket was super expensive. I wasn't inspired to ski for $80 a day but I did take a few gondola rides that made it all worth it! :) John said the snow was great boarding the first day (Tuesday) but the rest of the week it wasn't good. I'll probably post a few times to fit all the pictures in.

Cora (3) skiing for the first time!!

This picture cracks me up. They're trying to make their way to the "moving sidewalk" to go up the little hill.

More Whistler pics

Jeffrey's been waving more and more lately

Whistler

I feel like I'm usually the one taking the pictures. Here's more with me in them :) It's fun being on top of the world.

The newest member of Kiss. No, he's not related to Gene Simmons.
